This project involves the design of a new single-family home for a married couple in the Chalet Village neighborhood of Mount Crested Butte. Situated on a medium-sized lot with expansive views of the Elk Mountains, the home is intended to be modest in scale yet fully functional—providing space for recreational equipment and serving as a comfortable base for year-round mountain adventures.

My role included producing 3D renderings during the design development phase to help the client visualize exterior materials and the overall building form. After the plans were finalized, I created additional renderings to support the building permit process with the Mount Crested Butte Design Review Board, ensuring a smooth approval process.
The project was completed successfully in the spring of 2024. The clients were pleased that the home’s design and construction remained within budget, and during construction they requested a deck expansion. I produced the necessary plans for approval, enabling the client to gain additional outdoor space—ultimately exceeding their expectations without exceeding their budget.
